THE POOL
The Pool is open seasonally to hotel guests only from Memorial Day – Columbus Day, offering the perfect setting amidst 270 degree views of the Catskill Mountains for a warm days of sunbathing and swimming.
THE MEADOW
The Lodge overlooks a Meadow field that offers an eco-system for indigenous plants and wildlife. With mowed paths leading to and from the Front Lawn, guests can explore five acres of wildflowers and tall grasses during the spring, summer and fall. Make sure to keep an eye out for foraging birds and frolicking butterflies.
THE SCRIBNER’S GARDEN
The Scribner’s Garden is nestled towards the entrance of the Lodge and consists of a series of raised beds thoughtfully planted with vegetables, herbs, fruits and flowers.
THE LAWN
Located at the front of the property, surrounded by the Meadow and large maple trees, The Front Lawn is home to a bocce ball court, a large firepit, ample lawn games and views of the Catskill Mountains.
THE RINK
Located on our Bluestone Patio, The ‘Glice’ Rink is open seasonally to hotel and community guests looking for an outdoor winter activity with picturesque views of the Catskill Mountains.
THE SAUNA
Our barrel sauna can be found on the West side of the property and is available for guests of the Lodge. With a large window looking out to the Catskill Mountains, the Sauna is a favorite place for guests to recharge.
THE STUDIO
Located on the lower level of the Lodge, this calming white space lends itself to yoga, meditation classes, events and movie screenings. Check out our Happenings Calendar for in-person wellness. The Studio is available upon request for private classes.
THE LIBRARY
The Library offers multiple seating areas, a circular fireplace, a billiards table and access to the West Deck. Floor to ceiling shelves display hundreds of books while furniture and art by local makers create the perfect cozy backdrop for quality time with friends and family.
THE WEST DECK
Just off the Library, the West Deck looks out over the Catskill Mountains and is arguably the most photogenic spot on the property. Home to one of our Malm fireplaces, this is a favorite spot for guests to roast s’mores while watching magical sunsets.
THE BLUESTONE PATIO
Located on the West Side of our property with stunning views of Hunter Mountain and the Catskill Mountains, the Bluestone Patio is a multipurpose space for social gatherings, wellness practice and is the home of our ‘glice’ skating Rink during the colder months.
THE WHISKEY LOUNGE
The Whiskey Lounge is an intimate 500-square foot lounge located adjacent to Prospect’s dining room. With a cozy fireplace, leather club chairs, vintage decor and original details from the 1960s, the Lounge is a multi-purpose space for private dinner events and more!
